Integrating Resources Task Force
The Integrating Resources Task Force is charged with developing a PowerPoint program for the CAPC Web page to assist catalogers of audiovisual resources in their application of revised AACR2 Chapter 12 rules related to the new category of integrating resources. This instruction, designed for all levels of librarians who catalog audiovisual resources, will offer a summary and overview of the new rules, with "before and after" examples of MARC records to illustrate the most significant of the changes that relate to the new category of integrating resources. The program should cover all AV formats potentially issued in integrating formats, including but not limited, to remote access e-resources and CD-ROMs. The Task Force will keep abreast of related training initiatives undertaken by CONSER, as well as respond to CONSER's questionnaires, call for comments, or other inquiries.
