LCGFT for Moving Image Materials
Thanks to Scott M. Dutkiewicz the LCGFT for Moving Image Materials, (Previously known as the LCSH Moving Image Genre-Form Headings List), list has been updated through June 9, 2010 (List 23) This update includes the addition of previously omitted headings and the name now reflects the separation of this thesaurus from LSCH. It is available here as a PDF document or on Classification Web.

Incorrect LCCN being used on the list
On the list of moving image genre/form terms, the LCCN given begins with prefix sp. This is incorrect. The prefix should be sh. Prefix sp is used only for proposed headings and proposed heading changes. Once a heading or change is approved, the prefix used and distributed with authority records is sh. (For now, since LC has indicated they will be changing these prefixes to gf. Presumably, change proposals to genre/form terms will have prefix gp).
