Dutkiewicz the LCGFT for Moving Image Materials, (Previously known as the LCSH Moving Image Genre-Form Headings List), list has been updated through June 9, 2010 (List 23) This update includes the addition of previously omitted headings and the name now reflects the separation of this thesaurus from LSCH. Guide to Cataloging SlotMusic Now Available

The Guide to Cataloging SlotMusic Based on AACR2 Chapters 6 and 9, created by the SlotMusic Cataloging Joint Task Force of the Music Library Assocation (MLA) and the Online Audiovisual Catalogers (OLAC), is now available on the Cataloging Tools, Training Presentations, and Other Publications (CAPC, Cataloging Policy Committee) area of the OLAC website.

Thanks to Scott M. Dutkiewicz, Special Formats Cataloger, Clemson University Libraries the List of LCSH Moving Image Genre-Form Headings has been updated through September 6, 2009 (List 36). It is also available in Classification Web, Genre/Form headings.
 

Update from the Moving Image Work-Level Records Task Force

A draft version of the Report and Recommendations for Moving Image Works, Part 3a: Operational Definitions (DRAFT July 2, 2009) has been added to the Task Force web page and is now available.

OCLC’s Proposed Policy for Use and Transfer of WorldCat® Records

In November 2008, OCLC announced an updated policy on the use and transfer of WorldCat records. OCLC planned to implement the policy in February 2009, but has since decided to convene a Review Board of Shared Data Creation and Stewardship to review the policy from the membership point of view before a new policy is implemented.
